Bank of Spain unveils first strategic plan
Hernández de Cos’s priorities include better macro-prudential policies and increased trust
The Bank of Spain published its first strategic plan on January 15, saying it aimed to increase efficiency and boost its influence in the core responsibilities of its mandate.
The plan sets out core objectives for the period 2020–24, and is central to governor Pablo Hernández de Cos’s first term.
