BoE publishes revamped FPC communications
New approach follows the style of MPC announcements more closely
The Bank of England published its first batch of documents today (March 5) under a new approach to communicating financial policy committee decisions.
The joint financial policy summary and record bring together documents that were previously published on different days, similar to the approach first pioneered by the Warsh review of the BoE’s monetary policy in 2014.
“This is consistent with the Bank’s strategic aim of improving the way we communicate,” the BoE said in a statement on March 1.
