Inflation in Turkey drops in October
However, pace of disinflation remains slow
Turkey’s official statistics bureau announced today that annual inflation slowed to 48.58% in October, down from 49.38% the previous month.
The decline was smaller than the 2.59 percentage point decrease between August and September and the 9.81pp drop between July and August.
Monthly inflation fell from 2.97% in September to 2.88% last month. The figure had increased by 0.50pp between August and September.
