ECB consults banks on data management and risk reporting

Most of eurozone's largest banks do not have adequate capabilities

The European Central Bank opened a consultation on its guide on banks’ data aggregation and risk reporting today (July 24).

It wants banks to improve their capabilities in this field as soon as possible, to improve risk management, digitalisation and strategic steering. The consultation will include a meeting with experts at the eurozone’s largest banks, which it supervises, and other interested parties. It will conclude on October 6, 2023.
