Riksbank extends swap agreement with Fed

$60 billion line set up in response to Covid-19 extended until end of September 2021

Sveriges Riksbank has extended its swap agreement with the Federal Reserve for six months, it said today (January 29).

The $60 billion liquidity line will remain in force until September 30, 2021. It was first agreed in March 2020, in response to the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, initially for six months. The swap line was previously extended in August until March 31, 2021.
