Russian central bank working closely with finance ministry, governor says
Nabiullina says two agencies are collaborating on draft laws on regulation
Russia’s central bank and the country’s finance ministry are working on several draft laws to improve the country’s financial regulation, according to governor Elvira Nabiullina.
The two organisations were working closely together on a range of issues, Nabiullina told an audience in the finance ministry on April 20, in a speech recently translated into English. “Major credit” was due to the finance ministry for its contribution for Russia’s growing economic stability, the governor said.
