Nouy criticises EC’s regulation reform proposals
ECB supervisor questions “one-size-fits-all” approach to supervision
Danièle Nouy, chair of the European Central Bank’s (ECB) supervisory arm, has strongly criticised a number of elements of the European Commission’s (EC) proposals for reform of financial regulation and supervision.
In a statement to the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (Econ) on April 25, Nouy singles out several of the EC’s proposals for the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and Capital Requirements Directive (CRD), the Bank Recovery and Resolution
