Human capital gap needs to be plugged, governor says
The biggest challenge facing the financial system in Mauritius is the stock of human capital, the governor of the Bank of Mauritius stressed on March 24.
Speaking at the annual dinner of the Chinese Business Chambers, Rameswurlall Basant Roi was concerned with the human capital "gap" which has appeared, stressing the need to "plug" said gap by "reconciling" Mauritius' medium and long-term economic goals with the "exigencies of the day".
