Joint supervisory colleges made ‘significant’ improvements in 2015 but challenges remain
Europe's supervisory colleges made some "significant" improvements in 2015, but "substantial drawbacks" remained in some aspects of their work, the European Banking Authority (EBA) said in a report published on March 1.
Supervisory colleges are formal collaborations between different European competent authorities tasked with supervising European banks' cross-border operations.
