Tabaković says Serbia’s macro-prudential policy is on a par with developed countries
Central bank is keeping up with its developed economy peers, governor says
Serbia is keeping up with its developed economy peers in the realm of macro-prudential policy, National Bank of Serbia governor Jorgovanka Tabaković said on July 30.
At the central bank's first ever press conference at the release of its annual financial stability report, Tabaković emphasised the importance of transparency. Financial stability is based on trust, she said, pointing to the important "psychological channel" through which risks can materialise.
