External member of Bank of England FPC warns of mispriced risk
Exit from unconventional monetary policy is likely to be a "positive event" for the UK economy and financial markets, according to Donald Kohn, an external member of the Bank of England's Financial Policy Committee (FPC), speaking before the British Bankers' Association in London on September 10.
"Most likely all will go well – unconventional policies will be unwound with only the sorts of gains and losses that usually accompany policy shifts and don't threaten financial stability," Kohn said
