Bank signs two-year capacity-building agreement with Swiss authorities

The Central Bank of Colombia (CBC) has signed a co-operation agreement with the Swiss authorities, making it the eighth central bank to participate in a bilateral capacity-building programme for central banks headed by the Swiss state secretariat for economic affairs (SECO).

The purpose of the agreement, which was signed this week by CBC governor José Darío Uribe and Switzerland's ambassador to Colombia, Dora Rapold, is to "provide technical assistance" and "improve the quality of inflation
