Eurozone inflation remains stuck at -0.3%

Year-on-year inflation first fell into negative territory in August 2020

Inflation in the eurozone remained in negative territory in December 2020, according to the official statistical agency Eurostat.

Last month, the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) declined year on year by 0.3%, the same as in September, October and November. Inflation in the region has been below zero since August.
