New York Fed study examines female participation rates in economics through conference case study

A paper published by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has found the representation of female economists at the National Bureau of Economics Research annual conference has increased, but there remains a disparity in which fields they contribute to.

Every year, the NBER holds a three-week conference which showcases the latest research across many economic disciplines.
