Chile central bank opens CBDC survey

Poll is part of gradually unfolding evaluation of potential digital currency

The Central Bank of Chile announced on July 4 that it had opened an online survey about its planned central bank digital currency (CBDC) project.

The poll, available here, is aimed at several audiences, including the financial sector and academics; specialists in payments and technological services; and the general public. The survey is divided into three segments corresponding to each group.
