Royal Mint will release 10 million commemorative 50p coins

After numerous delays, the UK’s Royal Mint will release three million commemorative 50p coins into circulation today (January 31) to mark the country leaving the European Union.

The new coin will bear the phrase “Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations”, and the date of UK’s exit. In total, 10 million will enter circulation.
