ECB to issue final two banknotes of Europa series

Enhanced security features should make it even more difficult for counterfeiters, central bank says

The €100 and €200 banknotes will enter circulation on May 28, completing the European Central Bank’s Europa series.

The new notes, designed by Berlin-based Reinhold Gerstetter, have a number of enhanced security features and new design elements.
