Zeti stresses need for Asean ‘partnerships’

Malaysia governor outline four foundations to anchor successful partnerships

As there are four basic building blocks within DNA, there are four “strong foundations” anchoring any successful partnership, Zeti Akhtar Aziz said today (March 11).

The Bank Negara Malaysia governor told an audience in Kuala Lumpur that building these partnerships were crucial to realising the “true economic potential” of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).

The foundations underpinning them, she said, were: adaptability and responsiveness; complementarity; trust; and governance
