BoE’s Taylor dismisses calls for ring-fence to be dismantled
FPC member hits back at critics of regulation
Martin Taylor, an external member of the Bank of England's (BoE) financial policy committee (FPC), has pushed back against calls for UK banking regulation to be undone.
In remarks to the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers, Taylor stressed the importance of the UK's ring-fencing of retail banks.
