Georghadji sees ‘turning point’ for Cyprus banking sector

Governor says SSM puts onus on banks to continue improving in all areas

The banking sector in Cyprus has reached a turning point, and the country's financial institutions are "slowly returning to a sound and strong position", according Chrystalla Georghadji, the central bank governor.
