Nowotny calls on IMF to help address global spillovers

Ewald Nowotny, governer of the National Bank of Austria (NBA), said at a conference last week that cooperation between the IMF and Europe to rescue the European Union's crisis economies could be seen "as a blueprint for future cooperation between the Fund and regional financial arrangements".
