Ireland’s Honohan pledges to avoid fire sales
Patrick Honohan, the governor of the Central Bank of Ireland, on Tuesday said Ireland could no longer afford to sell non-core banking assets at fire-sale prices as part of efforts to rebalance its banks' balance sheets.
