Crisis reshaping Australian bond market: RBA’s Debelle

Guy Debelle, the assistant governor for financial markets at the Reserve Bank of Australia, on Tuesday said the structure of the Australian bond market was undergoing significant changes following the financial crisis.

At a summit in Sydney, Australia, Debelle said: "The structure of the [Australian bond] market has changed noticeably after the events of recent years. Some of the dynamics that have emerged from the crisis may continue to shape the bond market in the future."
