BoE’s Dale identifies persistent headwinds in UK
Spencer Dale, a member of the Monetary Policy Committee and chief economist at the Bank of England, on Wednesday identified a number of headwinds that will hamper growth in the United Kingdom.
At a dinner at Kent Business School, Dale said: "The strength of the recovery over the next few years will depend on the balance of the substantial headwinds and tailwinds buffeting our economy.
