Uganda’s Tumusiime-Mutebile on driving investment growth

The Bank of Uganda's efforts to keep inflation in check have been successful to date, Emmanuel Tumusiime-Mutebile, the governor of the central bank, said last Tuesday.

Speaking at an event in Kampala, Tumusiime-Mutebile said the Uganda Securities Exchange had "played its role in providing an efficient, well-regulated exchange that has made the investment process as simple, affordable and transparent as possible." Investment relied, however, on the "perceptions of the future performance of Uganda
