Albania’s Fullani sees green shoots in lending

Ardian Fullani, the governor of the Bank of Albania, on 30 June said banks would need to play a more active role in lending if the economy were to remain on a sustainable path of recovery.

At a press conference following its June rate vote, Fullani said the economic recovery would persist despite high unemployment, low business confidence, scarce investments and low inflationary pressures.
