Malta's Bonello: Basel II amendments ambitious and far-reaching

Michael Bonello, governor of the Central Bank of Malta, on Friday discussed a number of proposals currently under consideration for the new Basel II capital requirements.

At the Annual Seminar of the Institute of Financial Services in Floriana, Bonello addressed some of the weaknesses in the current framework.
