Sweden’s Oberg says inflationary pressures not there

Sveriges Riksbank's repo rate will probably need to remain at a low level for a long time to come, said Svante Oberg, the first deputy governor of the central bank.

Oberg said it was difficult to see any indications that inflationary pressures were increasing. He said weak labour market and the unusually low resource utilisation pointed to low wage increases. He also said that the krona would strengthen, which would hold back import prices and that it was also difficult to believe that demand
