RBI's Subbarao: don't overlook us in crisis

Policy makers from developed countries need to take emerging markets and developing countries into consideration in their responses to the current turmoil, noted Duvvuri Subbarao, the governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

The governor said that in managing the crisis developed countries should explicitly account for the implications of that management for emerging and developing economies. He also said that emerging and developing economies should be consulted whenever the policies and actions
