Serbia's Jelasic: savings a priority

An increase in domestic savings should be key domestic priority in 2009, said Radovan Jelasic, the governor of the National Bank of Serbia.

Jelasic also said that the country should prepare itself for the possibility of lower-than-planned growth in the period ahead. He also said that Serbia needed to prove that it was different t0 other countries in the region.
