G7 plan "a major success": Riksbank's Ingves

The five-point plan agreed by the G7 finance minsters and central bank governors should help improve confidence in financial markets, said Stefan Ingves, the governor of the Riksbank.

"We are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with regard to the ongoing financial crisis," Ingves said. "The fact that the world's finance ministers and central bank governors were able to agree on a five-point plan to restore confidence in the financial markets is a major success."
