Albania's Fullani on maintaining stability
Ardian Fullani, the governor of the Bank of Albania, looked to reassure the country's economists and policymakers that the financial system would remain stable.
Speaking in Saranda last week, Fullani said: "Due to our not very distant history, I think that prudence in terms of financial stability is never excessive. I would like to assure you that the Albanian banking system is in a sound financial position, capitalised and profitable."
