Polish paper compares MP committees' efficiency

The financial crisis "derailed" the performance of some central banks' monetary policy committees, according to a National Bank of Poland working paper, but some have reacted more quickly than others.

The paper – On the Performance of Monetary Policy Committees, by Etienne Farvaque, Piotr Stanek and Stephane Vigeant – finds that the Bank of England and European Central Bank were able to revert to their "pre-crisis efficiency" fastest.

Moreover, the authors link the efficiency of central banks'
