Bank of Israel looks at post-crisis pension market dynamics

A Bank of Israel paper published on Monday looks at changes in the investment strategies of Israel's pension funds since the financial crisis.

Nadav Steinberg and Yehuda Porath, the paper's authors, use a panel vector auto-regression model to examine the short-run relationship between yields on pension savings instruments and the investment in pension funds in Israel.

Recent reforms in Israel's pension market have enabled savers to move between these funds without great difficulty. However
