MAS Quarterly Report on Financial Markets- Feb 01
In the report the MAS says there are "mounting concerns over a global economic slowdown especially in the US". It said the rates cuts by the Fed in Jan 2001 were the main events dominating gloabl financial markets, noting the substantial downgrading of the technology, media and telecom (TMT) sector.
