Recommendations for Central Counterparties

The Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (CPSS) and the Technical Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) released a report entitled Recommendations for Central Counterparties on Wednesday 24 November.

The report was prepared by the Task Force on Securities Settlement Systems, which was jointly established by the CPSS and the Technical Committee of IOSCO. It sets out comprehensive standards for risk management of a central counterparty (CCP). A CCP
