Sir, Peter Wyman ("The art of auditing", March 7) is right in saying the world needs global standards for accounting, auditing and corporate governance. I wonder, however, about the process he has in mind.

His statement that Asian capital markets have been relatively untouched by the wake of the Enron affair because
