The stock of non-performing loans (NPLs) in the Kuwaiti banking sector continued to decline in 2015, though not all sectors are looking equally positive, the Central Bank of Kuwait's 2015 financial stability report says.

Published on July 12, the report said banks' portfolios – dominated by credit assets – are "quite healthy", while aggregate NPLs hit a new low of 2.4%, "comfortably" below the 2007 level of 3.8%. The real estate and construction, and trade and industry sectors saw the biggest
