SNB made investment ‘innovations’ in 2015, report says
Central bank made first investments in emerging market equities in 2015
The Swiss National Bank (SNB) adjusted its strategy for investing reserves in 2015, making a few "innovations", according to its annual report, published today (March 24).
The central bank added two new investment classes to its reserves: emerging market equities and Chinese government bonds denominated in renminbi.
The emerging market equities, representing a "small proportion" of the overall equity portfolio, are managed passively by replicating an index, the SNB says, the same as its other
