Jamaican report says inflation risks balanced for 2016
Forecasts suggest inflation will rise in coming months
Jamaican inflation will likely return to the lower end of the central bank's target range in the coming months, according to the latest inflation report, published today (January 15) and authored by the research services department
The report notes inflation for fiscal year 2015-16 is "projected to fall towards the lower end [of] the target range of 5.5% to 7.5%". This would actually represent an increase, as annual inflation stood at 3.1% in November 2015.
