ECB survey shows further recovery in bank credit in Q2

Reveals an increase in the share of banks reporting greater demand for loans to enterprises

The European Central Bank (ECB) highlighted a "further recovery" in bank credit in the eurozone today (July 14), supported by changes in lending conditions and increased loan demand.

The latest bank lending survey shows banks reported a continued net easing of credit standards on loans to enterprises in the second quarter of the year, albeit to a lesser extent than in the first quarter.

In addition, the report shows net demand for loans to enterprises increased further in the second quarter
