Survey shows tighter credit standards for households in Norway
The latest survey of credit standards, published today (April 25) by the Norges Bank, found Norway's banks tightened credit standards for household borrowers in the first quarter of 2012.
The survey showed credit standards to enterprises remained largely unchanged.
According to the survey, the tightening of credit standards for Norwegian households is explained by new guidelines issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, which came into force in the first quarter of 2012 and
