BoE Quarterly Bulletin reports market deterioration

The Bank of England's Quarterly Bulletin, released on Monday, reviews developments in sterling financial markets, including the Bank's official operations, between the 2011 Q3 Quarterly Bulletin and November 25.

The report says: "Financial market sentiment and functioning continued to deteriorate over the review period amid intensifying concerns about a potentially disorderly resolution to the fiscal challenges and external imbalances facing several eurozone countries, related banking sector
