BoE - Agents' Summary of Business Conditions (February 2011)

Retail sales in the UK continued to grow in January, albeit moderately, with some recovery of spending that had been lost as a result of the bad weather experienced in December, the Bank of England's Agents' Summary of Business Conditions, published on Wednesday, said.

The report, based on information compiled by the Bank's agents between late December 2010 and late January 2011, said retail sales continued to point to a relatively gentle pace of annual growth, but had risen slightly compared
