Bank of England – Trends in Lending (January 2011)

The stock of lending to UK businesses fell in the three months to November, the Bank of England's Trends in Lending survey for January 2011, published on Friday, said.

The report, which is based on official data covering lending by all UK-resident banks and building societies, indicated that the stock of lending to businesses contracted by around £5 billion ($7.95 billion) in the three months to November.
