ECB - Monthly Bulletin (December)

The European Central Bank's Monthly Bulletin for December 2010, published on Thursday, said household indebtedness and weak domestic demand risked decelerating the economic recovery in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

The report said the pickup in economic activity in eight CEE countries outside the euro area - Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania - was being driven mainly by inventories and foreign demand on the back of a rebound in world trade
