BoE: Agents’ summary of business conditions (June 2010)

The Bank of England's June 2010 Agents' Summary of Business Conditions, published Wednesday, showed that despite steady growth in sales, retailers remained worried over the effects of government spending cuts on growth.

The Agents' Summary of Business Conditions is a monthly report compiled by the Bank of England's agents across the country. It draws on discussions with around 700 businesses to provide information on the state of business conditions for firms across all sectors of the economy.
