Bank of Italy: north hit hardest by crisis

The Bank of Italy's Economic Developments in the Italian Regions report, published on Thursday, analysed the evolution of economic activity in Italy's four macro-regions from 2009 to the first quarter of 2010, and found the northern regions were worst affected during the crisis.
