Central Bank of Brazil - Inflation Report (June 2010)

The Central Bank of Brazil's June 2010 Inflation Report, published on 30 June, said inflation would continue to rise above its target.

Since 2005, the central bank has targeted inflation at 4.5%, with a band of two percentage points either side. The central bank forecast inflation to rise by 5.4% in 2010, 0.2 percentage points higher than in the March 2010 Report, and above the midpoint of the target for the relevant horizon.

It also said 12-month inflation would remain unchanged before
