BoJ says institutions must manage risk better

Japan's financial system continues to stabilise, with funding conditions picking up in financial markets, the Bank of Japan's Financial System Report for September showed.

The report highlights the challenges to the Japanese financial system, and the need for institutions to meet them decisively. It recommends that financial institutions secure reliable profit bases, manage credit risk and reflect their credit risk assessment in pricing.
